Creative Services Team Lead

Position Summary

KAT & Company is seeking a talented and collaborative Creative Services Team Lead to oversee the day-to-day execution of creative projects and support the company’s strategic initiatives. This individual will play a key role in managing the creative team’s workflow, ensuring high-quality deliverables, and aligning efforts with client objectives and company goals. The Creative Services Team Lead will work closely with the marketing team to develop effective messaging and content strategies for campaigns.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and guide the creative team from development of creative concepts to execution of innovative and effective solutions.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to craft messaging and original content strategies that resonate with target audiences across various platforms.
  • Model and facilitate collaboration among cross-functional teams.
  • Provide constructive feedback to refine and elevate the quality of deliverables.
  • Support, mentor and develop the full creative team through stretch assignments, promoting efficiencies and a continuous improvement culture.
  • Directly manage and mentor several creative team professionals.
  • Assist in presenting creative concepts to clients, articulating the rationale and strategic thinking behind the ideas.
  • Monitor industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices to enhance creative processes and outputs.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Creative Arts, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in creative services, marketing, or related roles.
  • Passion for storytelling and delivering high-quality creative solutions.
  • Proven ability to manage and mentor creative teams in a collaborative environment.
  • Strong portfolio showcasing creative work and successful campaigns.
  • Excellent organizational and project management skills.
  • Strong communication and presentation abilities.
  • Fluent with creative tools and software (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite) and digital marketing platforms.
  • Experience with government agencies, public health organizations, or non-profits is a plus.
Compensation Package Includes
  • Annual salary: Based on experience and applicable skills
  • A KAT match of up to 4% of the employee contribution to the employer sponsored 401K retirement program

  • Additional paid time off during monthly on-call Fridays (evaluated with workflow quarterly)
